Believing in Abundance
Elizabeth Frog Uding, Guest Speaker

In these difficult economic times, it is easy to forget the amazing abundance surrounding us. Time, matter, and energy are in full flow all around us. We just need to learn to tap into it and to use our share wisely. We all have so much to give. We all deserve to receive what we need.

Finding the Faces of Homelessness
David Wertheimer, Guest Speaker

Over the past year, with the American and global economies in recession, the issue of homelessness has taken on new dimensions and a new urgency. Having worked specifically to address this issue in a variety of capacities since 1993, occasional guest speaker David Wertheimer will offer some reflections on where we have been, where we are today, and where we need to be headed in the future if we are serious about ending long-term homelessness in America. David will address the varying roles and responsibilities of government, the private sector and the faith community and each of us as individuals.  Is the vision of ending homelessness nothing more than a pipe dream, or is it a real possibility?
